🏓 HKPL × DUPR — Live Integration Test

A 5-minute, hands-on test that shows the HKPL platform talking to DUPR for real.

Everything here is real and live. You are using the actual HKPL platform, connected to DUPR's official partner API. When you score a match below, it is really submitted to DUPR, and the players' DUPR ratings really update. The four players are real, DUPR-consented accounts.

It runs against DUPR's test environment (sandbox), so you can test the full, live integration with zero real-world consequences — nothing here touches the public HKPL league or anyone's real rating.

What you can test

A. Score a match → watch it post to DUPR + ratings update (the headline). B. Link a DUPR account with "Connect with DUPR".

A · Post a real match to DUPR ~3 min

A match is confirmed by both captains. One person can do the whole thing by signing in as each captain in turn. Tap the buttons in order:

Step 1. Sign in as Team A's captain (DUPR Live Player 1):

Step 2. Open the match and enter the scores. On your dashboard, open the upcoming match “UAT DUPR-Live A vs UAT DUPR-Live B” (Division A, today) and choose Enter scores — or use this shortcut:

Enter the 5 game scores. Games are played to 21 (the winner of each game reaches 21, e.g. 21–15). Submit/sign. This signs Team A's side. If the shortcut says “not found”, the test match was just refreshed — open it from your dashboard instead.

Step 3. Now sign in as Team B's captain (DUPR Live Player 3):

Step 4. Open the same match and confirm / co-sign the scores (you don't re-type them — just confirm).

✅ The instant both captains sign, the system posts the games to DUPR automatically.

How you know it worked

The match flips to Completed, shows a winner, and appears in Results / Standings.
The players' DUPR ratings change — visible on their player profile (these are live DUPR sandbox accounts; in earlier testing a player went from “NR” to a real 3.5-ish rating after one match).
The rating update is pushed back to us by DUPR automatically (a live webhook) — the full round-trip.

B · Connect a DUPR account (the “Login with DUPR” flow)

Sign in as any player (or via the test sign-in page).
Open Connect with DUPR, enter a DUPR ID, and click Authorize on DUPR. A DUPR window pops up — sign in to DUPR and authorize.
Come back; the account links automatically. (You can link your own real DUPR account to try it cold — it only grants read consent to this test integration, nothing more.)

What this proves

That the HKPL platform and the official DUPR integration are built and working, end-to-end: a player can connect their DUPR account, captains can score and confirm a match, the result is submitted to DUPR for real, and the updated DUPR rating flows back into HKPL automatically. Every step here has been verified with live calls.

Honest note: this runs on DUPR's test environment. Switching to the real (production) DUPR is a final configuration step, pending DUPR's production-access approval — the application for that is in progress. So: the system is built and proven; flipping it to live production DUPR is one approval away.

A few things to expect

This is the UAT test sandbox (uat.silkvo.com) — separate from the real HKPL site.
It's one shared test match. After someone scores it, it shows Completed. To run it again, ask the team to refresh it (it also auto-refreshes overnight).
Occasionally 1–2 of the 5 games may not post on the first try (a momentary DUPR-sandbox hiccup, not a fault in HKPL). 3+ of 5 posting demonstrates the integration works.
