Round 19 · Division standings — every request answered, fixed & live

The Division C group chat was arguing over the standings — teams looked missing from the group tables, and nobody could tell why one team ranked above another. That's now fixed on the live site. Every team appears in its group, the ranking states the exact reason two level teams are ordered, and it all reads correctly in English, 繁體 and 简体 — on desktop and phone. Below: every request mapped to its fix, how to use each, and the proof.
It is live now and in sync with the site. Open 排名 (Standings) → your division and look. 30-second walkthrough in Section 3.

1 · Your requests — each one, and how to use it

"The combined A/B/C view is right, but the individual groups are all not updated — teams are missing."
Fixed. A team's group is now decided by who it actually plays, not by a text label that could be blank. So every team shows in its group — those who've played, and those still waiting (at 0–0). Division C now shows all 57 teams across 7 groups, nothing missing.
How to use: open 排名 (Standings) → 丙組 (Division C), then tap through 第1組…第7組. Every team is listed in its group.

"How is the ranking decided? Why am I below that team?"
Fixed — and corrected on 25 Jul to follow the rulebook exactly. When teams are level on points, the ranking now uses the HKPL Rules v3.4 order: 2 teams tied → winner of their head-to-head; 3 or more teams tied → most games won; then net points; then a re-match. (Earlier builds added an extra "head-to-head games difference" step and applied head-to-head even to 3+ team ties — the rulebook does neither; both are now removed, so a bunched-up division like yours is ranked by most games won.) The lower team still shows the exact rule that decided its place — no calculator, no Excel.
How to use: find two teams on the same points — the lower one shows a small line naming the rule (e.g. 對賽成績 / 總勝出局數 / 淨得分).
邵 Joon (SYW)
"Am I in the playoffs?"
The qualifying zone is highlighted and the top teams are marked as seeds on the Playoffs page, with the same ⚖ tie-break shown — so "am I in?" is answered by the rule that settles it. (A full "mathematically clinched / eliminated" label can be switched on when the rain backlog settles — say the word.)
How to use: open 季後賽 (Playoffs) — the seeded teams carry the tie-break reason on their bubble.
Committee
It should read correctly in Chinese, and work on a phone.
Fixed. The group names (第1組…第7組), the ranking-explanation line, the tie-break reasons and the whole page are translated in 繁體 and 简体, and verified on mobile — the tabs scroll, nothing is cut off.
How to use: switch language top-right (HK▾ → 繁 / 简 / EN) — everything updates instantly, on desktop or phone.
2 · Everything we fixed (with proof)
3 · How to check it — 30 seconds
  1. Open the HKPL site and tap 排名 (Standings).
  2. Choose 丙組 (Division C) — or any division. Grouped divisions show tabs: 綜合 (Combined) · 第1組 · 第2組 …
  3. Tap through 每一組 (each group) — confirm your team, and every team, is listed. Teams not yet played show at 0–0 (not missing).
  4. Find two teams on the same points — the lower one shows a line with the exact rule that ranks it.
  5. Switch language top-right (HK▾ → 繁 / 简 / EN) — group names and the ranking line all translate.
  6. Read the banner up top — 「已完成 N / M 場賽事」 — telling you how provisional the table is while games remain.
4 · Proof — the live pages (Division C)
